The Shit Factor

Well, as the title suggests...I was shit on..umm..shat on...whatever it is... on the head. Culprit?Mr.Crow. There started hundreds of propagations of it being very lucky, auspicious, Something good was about to happen blah blah blah...

Ok...so it seems to have worked this time.I think i should go point wise. Not too many points though,So you won't get bored.

Point No. One.

I lost a hundred bucks. Yes i know I'm careless n all but still!HAD to be todayy!(You go lengths to make me feel lucky,I go the same if not more to make You sure it aint true...bleheh)

Point No. Two.

The platform at Kurla station was spilling over with commuters waiting for a train to appear. No such luck. HAD to happen today(;lol..thats only cuz i'd decided to start saving money and walk home from the station instead of the usual rick)

What we did?...Walked all the way to Chembur,Got an overcrowded bus,got off at a stop from where my house is quite a distance yet not enough for a rick to comply to come to...but obviously making me have to walk all the way.hehe...fate.
I've had enough walking to last me a month!

Point No. Three.
One small friend was eager enough to explain to me how i was going to find the "love of my life" just cuz a crow shat on my poor hair. A few reasons why i was so damn sure i wouldn't-

Sub point No. one.
I ain't looking for him.

Sub Point No. two.
We were walking from kurla to Chembur.ANyone who's walked that walk knows what to expect for the "men" there. Love???pbbbbft!!

Sub Point No. three.
THe word "love">>>>HIghly highly over rated..bleheh!

Sub Point No. four and the most obvious reason why i wouldn't find him.
I HAD SHIT IN MY HAIR!!!!

The only lucky thing that happened to me was that as soon as i came home, Dad proudly announced we were eating out and eating at an eatery right where i had come walking from AND we leave in 5 mins for it. That's lucky?Yes...cuz its good food:P

The yummilicious paneer there made my day worth it and the walk back home wasn't that bad either.

So here's to crows and their shit and all the luck they bring with it..Cheerz!

The Fundy Duckling!

The Tail of Fundy Duckling

Once upon a time there lived a duckling, she was a girl and her name was Fundy. She waddled around all day very proud of herself...you know why?..cuz she had a secret, she was owner to possibly the wonderfullest pair of duck feet one had everrr seeen! She made all of Duckville greeeeen with envy..(psst psst...her duckfeet were greeen too)

Fundy duckling was a DEMANDING duck...She was never happy with just one of something...lets take a look...

"Fundy!!kabhi to line maarna chod!!n a piece of advice ducky...just one"

"Look maa!!no feet!!">>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Her feet got her manyy mannyyy suitors...good,bad and the downright ugly.Fundy-though had much choice, didn't have the taste or class.Look at what she chose!

Sissyduck...

Fundy loved sissyduck...but only because of one reason.Sissyduck had the biggest feet in town and there was no way he could steal fundy's feet cuz he could never use them!!fundy felt safe with him....so pratty sissyduck was the love of her life.N then..he could never really see much cuz of his Hair falling over his eyes..so wasn't much of an effort for fundy to hide her kinky feet.

Ohhh darn!!we've actually strayed away from the real story!!!but there isn't much time for it now...so i'll have to make do with a fastly rendered version of a long long fairytail.

Fundy one day went for a dip in the jungle where she met a scary fairy...the fairy threatened her to give her her feet or her fate!...Vain fundy chose fate over feet and got stuck with a tail!!

Her tail looked so funny that her feet lost all importance...

but she still had Pratty who couldn't see her tail either(Oh Hair!!;))

So Pratty and Fundy and the feet and the tail...lived happily ever after and drank lots of ale!!

The EnD!

Wanderlust

One of my favorite poems...never really thought too much about it when i had to by heart it for orals in school...but come to think about it..we never really thought much about things in school anyways..hehe...but its definitely one poem that's going to be known by-heart by me for life...

It isn't just about the poet dreaming about thousands of daffodils....
It's my state of mind for me...
More so..it's what I'd like to be...

Wanderlust....

A wanderer isn't just someone who's seen the world...
Or backpacks his way around villages and states...
You can sit still and still see...
A lot more than someone who's bhatkofying till eternity...:P

bad attempt at a rhyme i know...but it wasn't supposed to be rhyming either..so there...:D

Well,Its just that i dont need to let go of all my worldly possessions to explore and gain true experience and the secret to survival(bleh!)...i can sit on the pot and still travel beyond what a conventional traveller would...learn much more than him...and definitely lose a lot less-time,energy and cash!

PS:this post is regarding the previously posted poem ok??hehehehe

I wandered lonely as a Cloud,

That floats on high o'er Vales and Hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host of golden daffodils;

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine

And twinkle on the milky way,

They stretched in never-ending line

Along the margin of a bay:

Ten thousand saw I at a glance,

Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced,

but theyOut-did the sparkling waves in glee:-

A poet could not but be gayIn such a jocund company:

I gazed-and gazed-but little thought

What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft when on my couch I lie

In vacant or in pensive mood,

They flash upon that inward eye

Which is the bliss of solitude,

And then my heart with pleasure fills,

And dances with the Daffodils.

BEAUTIFUL!

You could say the universe conspired with us to get us everything that we wanted… Well, the everything that can never be got by man in general. By that I meant controlling the weather to suit us…our imagination. That’s exactly what we experienced yesterday on our way to Alibaug. I cannot imagine anyone else who deserved this picnic more than my mother…and I fervently prayed for good weather. Mr. Weather can make or break a holiday…it is totally in his means to do what he wants to with a vacationer’s mood. Thankfully, he was on our side *winks* for yesterday at least.

The sky the MOST beautiful blue…white clouds sweeping across calmly…the sun, making his presence felt but in a lovely way…sigh! It was Amazing! We started with our journey stopping by for breakfast at around 11 am at Pen…Cute little town it is. Very famous for its Ganpatis. We could see many of them almost ready in time for Ganeshotsav that’s just two months away. A sumptuous breakfast of missal pav n kaanda bhajiya later, we set off again to Alibaug.

We really did not know what to expect since it had been years since any of us had been there. Well, I did expect it to be very pretty…And we were in for a disappointment! A pretty sight?...yes…but only if you looked beyond the shore. The shore had no Sand! It was all made of concrete! We came in looking for a beach and what we get is nature’s beauty totally destroyed in the name of man’s convenience! Awfully overcrowded and a concrete beach!...it couldn’t be any worse right? That didn’t stop us from enjoying there for a while though but satisfaction failed to beckon. A quick chat with the driver revealed Kashid Beach at Murud being just an hours drive away. In we hopped into our scorpio and off we went…A nauseating and bumpy but beautiful ride later…we arrived at last! To the smell of the salted air to the coconut trees and lazy picnickers resting under them…it all seemed perfect! The beach was a tad crowded but then…we were fine with. We didn’t want to waste more time looking around for virgin beaches though there are tons there.

We ran straight for the water and had a blast! The sea was particularly rough apparently cause of the full moon my granma said. Haha…I can’t describe the Funnnnnnn we had in the sea!! It was after a long time that we’d gotten into the sea and enjoyed totally thanks to so many water parks around home. Made me realize…that nothing beats the real thing. It was absolutely stunning…I’m actually at a loss for words to describe it and hence I might get repetitive so its for the better that I stop. Hehe…
Let’s just keep it at I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E AND M-I-N-D-B-L-O-W-I-N-G!

Barring a few perverts and a gang of undie boys with a paid prostitute who seemed to follow us where ever we went, the day was one of the best ever!

Ohh…well…the weather did something else too!...Mom really wanted it to rain so she could get wet. She’d missed the first rains cuz she was at work and guess what??!!After we were done with the beach and were on our way to have lunch, It rained!!cats ‘N dogs!lol…so we had lunch sitting outside in the verandah of a dhaba that served yummilicious food…our appetites as huge as an elephant’s from all the running around the sea.hehe.whata cliche

We set of on our way home after lunch at 5…the roads were all clean and green and wonderful to look at and just before sunset, Dad spotted a rainbow! And the sunset after that was simply amazing(well I’m usually partial to sunsets cause I love them no matter how they are, and you can’t argue that they aint pretty right?).

All in all, a perfect day in terms of the weather and the place and the people with me. I wont be forgetting this in a long long time. Sigh* if only the perverts and the pros had chosen another place for a holiday…but hack! Not everything can be perfect right?*wink*
